Lovin Life!

This is a totally new look for me, I have never worn this type of skirt nor paired it with a simple tank but you all pull it off so well I had to try. I think I like it though. I hope you will forgive me if I "copy" your looks, you just look too dang cute not to try! :)

Chains of gold...

I loved these shoes so much I had to wear them again today. I am pleased with the fact that they went from being ladylike to slightly rocker-esque so easily! I think I am also obsessed with the layered look these chains give me. The phone rang as we were going to take pictures and when I answered it my daughter began to take the pics anyway. I liked how they turned out, just another glimpse into my everyday life. :)

We went to Anchorage today to visit Daddy for lunch at the office. I stopped by Old Navy on the way home to let the girls pick out an outfit each....it took them FOREVER to decide what they wanted and I was going insane trying to keep my two year old under control. They girls ended up with some cute things and I made a mental note to myself...NEVER EVER take my son shopping without the nap!!!!

I heart Target!

I felt like such a lady in this dress today. I think I may put this outfit on the list as a "go-to"! I was also very comfortable ALL day which is a huge plus!

Church, lunch with my grammie, then over to visit my parents. Lovely day!
I was at home all by myself for the evening and today, my wonderful husband took all three kids to the cabin for the night. What a guy huh!

just my style: fishing

I just had to share my fishing pics. I don't look very fashionable, but I do look like I'm having fun and that's all that counts sometimes. We all hopped in the plane last night and flew about an hour from home to a great fishing spot. It was a blast! We all ended up catching a King Salmon and didn't get home until 1:00am (it was still light out)

Sweet and Simple....

I was enjoying a relaxed Saturday (I was still in my PJ's) when my sweet husband says lets all go out to lunch. Cooking is not one of my greatest strengths so I quickly jumped in the shower and threw this dress on. Greek Salad for lunch...Mmmmmmm!

Soooo glad it's Friday!

AHHHHHH.... Friday has finally come! I'm exhausted and ready for the weekend. Liking the fact that I don't really match today. In my mind, my style is changing a bit, I'm leaning toward a new sort of look and style, hopefully I'll be able to translate my new thoughts soon!

WOW,what a week!

I know I said I would be back yesterday, and I would have except my husbands wallet AND my purse were stolen...UGGGGGHHHHH.... I was on the phone and around town dealing with STUFF yesterday. Oh well such is life! It gives me a great excuse to go purse shopping! Outfits this week unfortunately are a little dry due to being the "snack lady" for about 70 kids and 40 adults every morning. I volunteered to help with my church VBS (Vacation Bible School) and while I am having a good time long necklaces and scarves just do not mix with frosting and kool-aid. :) Cute ruffley blouses will have to do.

Back from the unfashionable abyss....

I Lied....I wasn't back last week, I have a good excuse though!!! On a whim we decided to spend nine days at the cabin. Awesome Husband and his brother commuted to and from work in the airplanes (we couldn't wipe the perma-grin from their faces) Even with all the fresh air, huge mountains, and a 24-7 view of the gorgeous creek our cabin is situated on I still missed all of my bloggie friends. I have been trying to get caught up on every body's fabulous blogs....you are all rockin it in those cute sandals and sun dresses!

Ok, so you may or may not have noticed but I dropped off the radar for a couple weeks......sorry!

When school ended I was FRIED!!! I just wanted to curl up and do nothing in sweats(not even jeans!) and t-shirts for a few days....so I did....then all of those "spring chores" I was frantically trying to get done.....didn't.... spent the last couple weeks just trying to catch up.... gardening, mowing lawns, cleaning out sheds, detailing cars, organizing closets, and everything else does not promote good fashion. Hence the lack of posts....plus my photographer is at church camp for the week. :)

I am almost ready to enjoy summer and I think I will be back next week....maybe!
