What a week! I am pooped and it is still not Friday, actually I don't even really get a Friday because it is birthday mania around here. Today is my second daughters birthday, along with my nephew's. Tomorrow is filled with last minute school preparations and then Saturday is a big triple birthday bash at the lake. Then to top it all off on Sunday is yet another family dinner....UGH! I am ready for the kids to start school just so life will settle a bit. Does anyone else just want to curl up in their pj's and do NOTHING for an entire day...no maybe week?

We took birthday girl into Anchorage today for lunch with daddy and a little birthday shopping, stopped at a friends house to pick raspberries...homemade jam soon! MMMMMM.... Then we raced home to prepare birthday dinner and frantically prepare for guests. Can you tell I am about to tear my hair out?
UPDATE:
*** Currently the family is sleeping and I am sipping a glass of Merlot and reading blogs....AHHHHH bliss.....except for those darn dishes in the sink... :(
Does anyone else seriously NEED their own quiet time daily or am I the only selfish beast out here?
