Sorry about my absence from the blog...I had the great idea to load the kids up and take a road trip down to the Kenai Peninsula for a little camping and fishing action. It poured rain the entire time and I only hooked fish and lost them. We had a great time "roughing it" in a tent for two days anyways and the memories of Mom standing in the pouring rain waist deep in the river trying to catch and LAND a darn fish are priceless! We stopped on the way home to snap a couple pics of my "camping attire" and to show you the awesome scenery we are blessed to live amongst! This is a shot of Turnagain Arm, where Anchorage is situated.
