Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.....James Baldwin (1924-1987)

It seems as though I am easing myself into the thigh high arena. I wore them here but chose to hide the fact. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the look, both in boots and socks but have yet to muster the courage to don one or the other. I absolutely adore the tights, cutoffs, tall socks and boots look but really, should a mama of three be wearing that? I question myself but yet am so drawn to the thigh high.

What do you think?

  3. This is really cute and I love that blazer! You can make the cut-off, tight, thigh-high look more appropriate by using plaid wool shorts instead of cut-offs. I'm on the lookout for a pair myself.

  5. You look wonderful! I say, if you like it and feel great in it...then it's a winner! I am a 35 year old SAHM mom of 2 beautiful girls and we have a very similar "style", and I am always hearing, "YOU'RE 35?!?!?!?" (I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not, but I take it as one!" Ditto on the first commenter, you look awesome so Work It!! :-)

  6. First, I think it's great that you can be a sweetacholic and still look fabulous! I think I'd wallow in the glory of being able to be both...not feel dirty even typing it! Second...it's not like you're gonna wear a slinky plunging shirt with hot pants & thigh highs...so next time you find a pair at a great price, I hope you go for it!!!

  7. Last year I would've said no to thigh-highs but now they are more mainstream and come in much more approachable knits so I don't think they have the sexual stigma as before. Besides, you're hot... work it...:)
