Next to acquiring good friends, the best acquisition is that of good books......Charles Caleb Colton (1780-1832)

Another dreary day, and I was inside trying to catch up and re-organize my filing system...Fun I know. I labored in my comfies but when I had to pry myself away pick kids up from school I slipped on the sweater and necklaces to spice up the leggings a bit. As I was reaching for my shoes, I was drawn to my beloved Uggs, it is September after all. I know, I know, they're not the most fashionable things and I have even seen other fashion bloggers mock them but, (excuse coming) I live in Alaska where snow and ice cover the ground for seven months of the year and people like me just sorta kinda fall in love with the furry ugliness that is called Uggs. So there I'm out of the closet....I LOVE my Uggs!

WHAT:
Leggings:Target
Tunic tee: Target
Necklace: (gold) Nordstrom

Around the house and then over to the parents house for dinner. My Mom is from Alabama and she was cooking from her roots tonight....SOOOO YUMMY...Thanks Mom!

  2. i don't hate uggs if they're worn for warmth, and these look cute on you! but here in boston i want to smack the girls using them for snow boots; there's a foot of slush at the curb during storms, and those things are NOT waterproof!!
